Updated future odyssey content??

I hope the insufferable grind didn't kill the game for you!

The only part that really got my goat was I headed back and unlocked the gauss guns. I wanted to then unlock the hull reinforcements. I had thought that one plan unlocked it all and I just need the materials to do the rest.

So I had to jump the 40 odd jumps back out there ( I wasn't that well engineered at the time.) to get another plan.

My own stupidity, of course...but it was a real gut punch.

Yes, there's so much to learn and keep track of in this game that stuff like that happens sometimes. maybe it would have been better if all the guardian stuff was just one time unlocks and then buy with mats and credits. Not sure I care much one or the other way though. I might head out again to get what I need for another 2 salvation modded plasma for an upcoming t-10 ax build.

For my new alt I went out and got only the FSD booster, but in retrospect maybe I should have gotten what's needed for the PP, PD, HRP and MRP unlocks too.

At least now with a fleet carrier and a Phantom with a 73 LY jump range it's not that hard to get there.

if the shareholders were going about with their fingers in their ears the impact and fallout of the Odyssey release would have got the alarm bells ringing and focused their attention

Really?

Because Odyssey was released May 19, 2021 and nothing happened to the stock at all. It was up and down before Odyssey ever came along. That same pattern continued after its release. The stock didn't really start getting hammered until late November of that year along with everybody else, primarily due to the pandemic being in full swing.

the missing roadmap for 2023 says all. I wonder also why the shares of FDEV plunged few weaks ago. Maybe a sign of the bad condition regarding FDEV and if so a major investor left. Very sad for such potential game.

Is there a Roadmap for 2023 in planning or did they say anything about a dev plan for 2023 and beyond or is it possible to get some infos in future streams? I expect a roadmap late spring if we compare it with the last years!?

I am very curious what FD plans to bring us in the future or not a Info would be enough for me.

PS.: And for all who discuss share prices or the game is doomed or not white knights, black knights whatever.... Could we keep the topic on rumors of new content here? There are enough threads about everything but not on new content for the game...

Aftermath will see its next major release with galaxy-wide implications in Update 14, with more to come in Updates 15 and 16. What we can say for now about Updates 15 and 16 is that they will both contain new content and gameplay mechanics linked to the unfolding events in the galaxy. More on this will be revealed next year.

Since then it was confirmed Update 15 is coming at the end of March April and Update 16 "later in the year".

Many thanks for the detailed list of said updates! With this info one could think that no bigger updates are planned beside narrative and the major overhaul of a certain feature... speaking of slightly more variations in stations, new ships or more variants for planets with more atmo effects.
