This is my ship in real life, 142m length 24m beam, draught of 5.7m and air draught of 47.1m
Gross tonnage of 14,759 tonnes, can carry about 6500 tonnes of cargo.
I would think the anaconda handles better, though I haven't piloted one
Must be a damn good view from that bridge, maybe even better than from the Lakon Type 9

It's great to get some insight from the real world equivalent to Elite :smilie:
Speculative, have you read Rose George's book on modern container shipping Deep Sea and Foreign Going? I found it really fascinating (and rather worrying in places too) and couldn't help but think of the parallels to Elite. Some scary stories in there too. Pirates!
I'd recommend it anyway- though a real sailor might have a more sceptical view of it!
