Newcomer / Intro upgrade difference

OK I farmed a lot of materials from sites and managed to upgrade my Mav and Artemis for G3's to G5's
Also my primary and scondary weapons from G3's to G5's

But what are the advatages exactly?
Anyone know please?

For suits generally, resists, shield strength & regeneration goes up.

For both modification slots open up by one per grade.

As indicated above, you will have better shields and armour on your suits.

Your weapons will do more damage.

The modification slots mean you can add engineering to both. For instance, you can add increased magazine size and reduced reload speed to your weapons. On the rocket launcher, these increase your combat efficacy immensely. On the marksman rifle (the Executioner), you can add audio masking, which means people you shoot outside have no indication where the shot came from, giving you ample time to pick them off one by one without alerting those nearby.
