upgrade python

i got a 7b power plant tonight, hopefully works out for me, had been seeing some overheat levels in combat so i hope this help fix that, will upgrade to 7a in future but that is like 43 million credits. i am looking to next upgrade the power distributor and frameshift drive and shield generator. waiting to get ship upgraded before i visit any engineers. is it worthwhile to upgrade the sensors? because i may do that as well but i didnt know if that makes a difference.

also how do i tell if a planet is high gravity or low? i have not tried landing anywhere but bases on planets yet and i have seen people mention to be aware of gravity when landing

I can't really answer about outfitting, but once you've scanned a planet, you can see gravity on the information in the system map. Once you enter orbital cruise, the current g force also appears on the bottom right of your cockpit window.

Low gravity is usually anything up to about .7 G, high is 1.4, 1.5 and above if I remember correctly.

EDDB

Go to station and up in the module you want, your current location and hit find.
Your best bet is to put Li Yong Rui in the Power tab too to get a system that discounts on modules and ships

I'm looking for a 7A for my python if anybody has just found one as I'm having trouble finding one :(

If you still can't find an A7 powerplant; I am sure my home system has 1. The station is Quick Vision. System is Chuanabosso.

Use turrets and fit a 6A powerplant... more than enough juice there :)

This thread sank to the fourth page allready but I just wanted to thank you for sharing your setup.
I switched my weapons to what your using, only difference is I'm using seeker missiles.
This setup works like a charm, never knew missiles were that effective and in combination with those turrets....... awesome.

Fly save Commander 07

All these stations have 7A Power Plants for Python, close to Chuanabosso
