Uploading videos to forums

If this is the wrong place to ask, please direct me to the appropriate section.

How do you post videos onto your posts from the Xbox game DVR? I attempted to post a link for a bug report, but that failed.

I did see a post asking this exact thing a while ago but I can't find it again.

Bongo baggings knows how to directly post a video form XboxDVR.

I know how to do it via Youtube. But, i bet you know that one as well.

You can't upload directly from XBoxDVR only Youtube Daily Motion etc. You can upload your video to Youtube from your Xbox though.

On Xbox DVR under the vid there's a couple of options, one of which looks like a console with an arrow, press and hold this until options show, select copy link address.
Then on the forums, paste but with [video]at the start, and

[/video ]at the end

Like so

To embed a video it has to be on Youtube. You can link to - but not display - an XboxDVR video.
Xboxdvr.com has a new facility to send videos directly to Youtube but I haven't tested that yet. I'm at work now too

I just tested it. You have to sign up (for free) at xboxdvr.com and you can instantly send your DVR videos to Youtube to embed here.
But they upload to Xboxdvr's YT account, not your own, which isn't ideal.

Change the m. to www. because the mobile version won't embed. Then enclose the url in video tags like this
