You could just abandon them, too.Just had another thought... What would happen if I took EVERY mission I could find for the Smiley Dogs, then logged off for the night to deliberately fail them?

You guys all realize SDC doesn't give a rats posterior about their influence in the BGS. right?
Yes, they've made that abundantly clear. So clear in fact, that their "representatives" here sighted "PG Grinders" affecting the BGS outside of their control as their motivation for the recent PG incursions.

AFAIK, They are opposed to the ablity of solo and PG to affect the BGS, because of the repercussion that has in removing conflict drivers and PVP from the game. They don't actually care about their local system influence. But I'm not surprised that difference has flown over the PVE communities head like an unladen Cobra Mk III
That's what they say. Over and over again. Still it soothes the ire from a certain group of players. This isn't being done with regards to what the puppies want, or feel.

As long as people realize that the congratulatory back-pats are pretty laughable, because they couldn't likely could not care less and are having a good laugh at all this effort you are expending. I have no doubt they are dropping just enough verbal carrots to keep you guys interested and wasting your time on this.
People did this against the Code when they hated us, and we did the same. If we lost influence on our home system.. Who cares? We can still dock there and keep our ships there. Seeing as we didn't really participate in PVE except out of boredom or to make money, who's sticker was on the station made zero difference to us.
That being said. Carry on (lmao)
Then as far as I've seen, you're the first to make that distinction.
Still, it's not a very big distinction. There's also PLENTY of PvP in game. There's a PvP tournament on-going presently. How is the litter fairing there?

Wow. A PVP tournament. No doubt you will next tell me how much fun CQC is. *yawn*
Say what? You can certainly abandon missions still. Not any more. FD fixed that.
That has a strong negative affect on a Minor Factions influence. I highly recommend the tactic. Just as a note, some missions come with a fine for failing it. Just keep an eye on that.
You make it abundantly clear, it's the ganking life for you. We heard you. Don;t you have some blazing to do?

The change was to make your reputation with that faction decay at a much higher rate when you do, so that you cannot do so indefinitely (via regaining that lost rep by selling the goods from the abandoned mission). Now you cannot make up for the reputation loss by selling that cargo. I think fines for doing so got a buff too. Don't know for sure.
You can still abandon missions, but I haven't seen it affect influence like failing them does. At least not any more. The BGS people might be able to shed some light on this.
Yes, a couple or more of UA's will solve that particular problem as well. Orrere is it?
