Use Jet-Cone Boost - plotter not consistent

Testing jumps between 2 neutron stars
  • Jackson's Lighhouse
  • Lalande 25224
Distance of 283.75 ly

With my overcharged FSD of 253 ly
Going from Jackson's Lighthouse to Lalande 25224 tooks 2 jumps
- first jump 250 ly overcharged jump, second is 35 ly regular jump (as plotted by the ship's plotter using the 'use jet-cone boost' option.

However after overcharging FSD from Lalande, jumping back to Jackson's, the ship plotter fails to plot jumps - the result is 5 regular jumps.

To make sure the ship's plotter works - jumping to SOL is only 1 overcharged FSD jump (195 ly)

Is this a known issue..seems like a bug ?

Additional notes :
  • sometimes I need to set FSD Boost (beneath 'use jet-cone boost' option) in order for the plotter to work with overcharged FSD, other times, not necessary.
  • selecting a star system within the overcharged FSD range instead of plotting the route always work, but this is not efficient.

That's an old bug.

Reason : Lalande 25224 is a special case, as the Neutron is actually the B Star but has the highest mass - hence you arrive there.

The Neutron Plotter though doesn't recognize it as a valid Neutron Boost source for plotting purposes, since it only sees the primary F Class sun.
Hence the 1st jump away from Lalande 25224 has to be a manually set one.

(it's a bit of "my baby" since I discovered it for Neutron Highway purposes : https://forums.frontier.co.uk/index.php?threads/another-neutron-star-close-to-sol.318684/ )
