Argh! Downloaded the 1GB version.....

Here's a link to the short version:

I'll paste up the results in a mo.

Just put mine in. Didn't do as badly as I expected given non-bleeding-edge gfx card (7850HD). Nice idea, thanks John.

Well that's odd.

On the 3DMark11 I got 11714 on the 1st test - then when I dialled the GPU and memory boost clock up to 11 - I got 11619.

So it would appear on the face of it that the Asus GPU tweak gizmo does doodlysquat!

:D
Funny that, gotta see how it goes.

BTW, shouldn't your GPU RAM Speed Base / Effective be 1502 / 6008 MHz, at least that's what I see everywhere when looking for GTX 780 specs...

Just about to run 3DMark11 - preparing for a significantly lower score than my old Vantage one!

And thanks to whoever was correcting stuff as I was typing, it saved a bit of googling :)

My 3dMark 11 scores are:

3DMark 11 has found DirectX 11 system files, but your graphics adapter reports that it supports only Direct X 10_1.

(but it's ok, this is a laptop with a tri-core AMD so it's not Elite Spec anyway!)

Tried that 3Dmark 2011 out on my machine. Disappointed to say the least.

I have no idea why both my graphics memory size and clocks are reported incorrectly, or indeed why my score is so low. Maybe I do need a new machine after all :) Any ideas?

It's not a bad score, and all that's really letting you down is the GFX card, which isn't top end. I wouldn't bother touching anything else, as it all looks solidly specced and much the same as my rig.

Hmm, I have the same gpu, overclocked a little, an older generation cpu and only 6gb ram and still managed P9630... Something doesn't seem right although I have no idea how the newer cpus compare to my generation.

Edit: Asp is running a beta Catalyst driver by the looks of it, perhaps that's having an effect.

I run an ungodly number of VM's, hence the RAM and 3 screens. I'll see if I can trim a little fat and poke some different numbers out of the old girl.

I'd be happy enough to replace the graphics card with something with more oomph, as long as it will drive a HDMI, displayport and DVI at the same time.

Overclocking really isn't an option for me - I chose my motherboard for stability, it offers no real overclocking capability. I chose the unlocked CPU for stability plus it was cheaper than the locked. RAM is all 1866 downclocked to 1600, once again - for stability, plus that is the maximum my CPU will take.

I ran all three,

After some basic tweaking, little bit of a boost to my score. However, still think it should be a little higher, even though my rig is hardly overkill.
