Using a gas pedal instead of throttle? Is anything compatible with ED?

My goal is to find a gas pedal (like one you’d use in a car to accelerate) that is compatible with Elite Dangerous. I would use it just like you would use a throttle. Press the pedal all the way down to go at full speed. Let off the pedal to drop to 0 speed. Obviously this wouldn’t work well with FAoff, but that’s a separate issue. Is there a USB PC gas pedal that is compatible with Elite Dangerous?

Elite supports just about anything that plugs into a computer. My CH pedals come with stoppers to prevent the slide if you want to use them for just gas/brake car-style controls.

Some of the rudder pedals have exactly that.
The stand alone pedals should work to.

Controls are controls; it's how well you can work them more than what they are. People have beaten Dark Souls using a Rock Band guitar, for example.

I could be happy with right pedal kicks on boost, left pedal zero throttle/emergency stop.
