Vets No Longer Visiting Enclosures

since 12.17 patch ..

apparently not 1 vet has visited an enclosure since I started playing this patch. 3 years of game time according to the habitat report on the last visit. All vets are assigned properly and i've never seen this message ever because it was working fine before today.

I get that message too, but I ignore it. My vets have no reason to visit habitats. They have researched all current animals and are researching sicknesses now. You can switch it off, but that will switch all your staff alarms, and it doesn't work anyway.

I don't think we get a good game before Christmas. I haven't heard anything of them fixing bugs. They just add new stuff. I noticed that our bug reports expire fast with them.

This appears to be just another bug though. The maintenance panel which shows when a vet or keeper last visited isn't being updated. It is the actual variable that is not being updated not just the UI.

I just got the message for a habitat, that keeper hadn't been there in a long time. I checked. There was a keeper, in the habitat at that exact moment, and the UI said 1 year.

I called a keeper, after the keeper that was in there left, and he turned around and went back to the habitat, and the variable updated.

I've seen other people report this same behaviour, but haven't seen it in my zoos. My vets, unless they are assigned to research, are visiting habitats on schedule and the UI is marking it as visited. Even the ones who are doing research go to habitats between research assignments if I don't get around to checking the research-complete message right away.
