[Video]There always has to be that one guy...

Take it EZ graill, I think the whole situation is a bit funny, esp with that many players all bunched up. I think the OP isn't too bummed at the situation either. Fun stuff, laugh it out!

There is this neeto game called EVE Online Pappy55uk......or are you from there and this is what we can expect from you and your friends in this game?

Sorry to see that OP, that was a straight up stab in the back, you were toast before you got your first boost in. lets hope the game doesn't degenerate to EVE online type play like we witnessed there.

Intimate, purposeful ship contact like pappy and his buddies did should not make a person go red either, that needs to be addressed.

I thought he took a hostile action as he turned red..

As you saw I was willing to play nice doing the flyby. But from his footage I saw he did not do anything. So there has to be some reason he turned red.

I did play EvE once and did not like it.
I don't know why you seem to have an issue with a kill on a "valid" target in a combat area. I'm not a pirate I don't kill for fun.

This is where comms would've been handy. You could have said hello at least. Any word on a "Sorry, I didn't mean to shoot you" button yet?

Exactly, was not really mad was even laughing about it  But this game really needs the comms implemented :p

Red doesn't necessarily have to automatically mean Dead in any game anyway - conflict with human players is always an act of commission rather than one of omission, and that's what makes us different from the A.I. :)

I still vividly remember being part of a player get together of Horde and Alliance within the walls of Stormwind itself in WoW. We'd decided that no one was going to dictate to us who was supposed to be a friend or foe simply based on the colour they conned!

For me, that memory looms large in my time playing MMOs because we the players chose to behave that way in defiance of what the game's rules of conflict expected us to do. Because we had the luxury of choice.

Every fight starts with a first punch. But if no one raises their fist, there is no war :D

Love the video. So reminded me of Alpha 2, when the AI didn't bother showing up, all that was left was Sidewinder pilots messing around - and then someone would inevitably get bored and shoot. Happy memories. :)
