RCT 3 PC Vindicating the Skywheel Issue

When it first came out in RCT3, I complained to Frontier and Atari both stating the rotational speed of the Skywheel was too slow and that it was not a gentle ride, but rather a thrill ride. Youtube videos now backup my original complaints. Will Frontier make good on this ride for RCT3'ers and speed up the animation? I doubt that will happen, but at least I can vindicate my original complaint on the rides speed, to the programmers as this validated easily in several films. Here are the links for you to study. The film clips cover the only two manufactured skywheels and they rotate about the same speed. One is the original allen hirschel and the other is the chance Skywheel's which still operate today.

By the way Michael, RCT3 without further expansions or a future does make it a dying platform ;)...! While sales continue for RCT3 and will for some time (much thanks to the 3rd party scenerymakers community) and while numbers may come and numbers may go in waves of users, the trend is that overall the numbers dwindle over time without any upgrades. If LucasArts were smart or if EA was smart they might cut a deal, pay Sawyer his royalties and buy the RCT franchise and build on what is here plus support and engage the community. But you know that won't happen.
 
Yeah, Atari and Frontier really make some rides in a totally different speed, just like mery-go-round...;)

It spins too fast... i cant believe how the peeps dont fall out the ride 'cause it has no protection to hold them:eek:
