Viper/Cobra: what laser to use alongside dumbfires for big game bounties

I'm currently in a Cobra with 2x C2 beams and 2x C1 dumbfires.
C2 beams pretty much vaporize anything Cobra and smaller, while I use dumbfires just for big ships.
I was wondering, are beams the best in that slot, compared to pulses and bursts? I mean, which one wins at sustained dps? Sure, beams have the highest dps, but you will have to stop every 4-5 seconds to let them cool down, while you can fire pulses indefinitely and bursts is halfay in the middle.
Which of the three do you think is best for sustained damage?

C2 Beam ? didnt see them anywhere, where did you buy them?

In a game that has letters A-G and numbers 1-4 to describe a weapons/module strength and class, some people decided to use "C2 Beam" as "medium hardpoint beam laser" (or rather, vice versa).

Where are you getting C-grade beam lasers for the size 2 hardpoints? Mine's a D and that's all I've seen for sale.

I'm sorry guys, what I meant was Class 2 beams as in medium hardpoints beams! :)
Anyway, what's your opinion?

I think your current loadout is the best for the task.
In my experience at 2 medium hardpoints, using pure laser, if you use 2 beam, you take things down faster then using 2 pulse, even considering the cooldown time. I was testing these differences in warzones, where NPCs are toughter (military grade bulkheads I assume).
Medium burst laser is not in the game AFAIK.
So you're cool.

If you can keep your target in sights for longer than you can keep your beams powered you might consider other types of lasers, yes. You can try mixing them too. Burst is not available in Class 2 as far as I am aware.
