Seems the consensus is that i should apply for a job here... settle down at a games studio? me? here? Yeah, it would be awesome wouldn't it... Just the possibility of being involved in Elite IV....
We are looking for vehicle artists who have a good sense of design, together with experience of creating high quality vehicles. We strive to maximise the creative input from our art team, and we currently have projects encompassing a range of genres.
Successful candidates will also have a strong interest in gaming, a good working knowledge of 3DS Max, good knowledge in and of low and high poly modelling, UV mapping, texturing and advanced use of shaders. Experience in Photoshop and concept skills are highly advantageous.

Not unless they either had (horribly inefficient) combustion drive separate from the fusion one, or were able to use atmospheric air as reaction mass somehow, which would be too much of a hassle given how little time do they spend in the atmosphere.Wouldn't it need the air intakes when it's in the atmosphere?
On the new model it's perfectly visible, though.Beautiful work, but where is the main gun on these ships? In the game, the vipers have only one gun mounting point , but it seems to be invisible.
