Horizons Voice attack and panels

Hi
I have problem with the VA that I don't know how to handle. It's about left, right and comms panel in the ship.
When I've got VA on and say "left panel" nothing happens. Even pressing key 1 don't do anything. The same is with "right panel" and comms. Now I can see in VA window that software recognize command as it displays "recognized left panel" and so on, but nothing happens. When I turn off VA, then pressing key bind to the command works
This is what I have in my VA->keybindings->((left panel)) and Voice Attack edit profile window -

Can you help me please. What should I do to be able to access panels in my ship just by saying left, right or comms panel? It is on after all. Isn't it?

Without really having much knowledge on the subject, maybe increase key press time? Just an idea ?

Try saying "navigation" or "contacts" and report what happens.

First of all take the brackets off the text, that tells VA to ignore what you say ie. for Key binding, etc

If you just put Left Panel, with no brackets VA will respond. As for you pressing the 1 key and not getting any response either, that suggests you need to re-look at your key bindings, if pressing 1 does not bring up the panel, then it looks like 1 is not assigned to that feature in the game.

You should have the "When I Say" box ticked, the "Left Panel" on it's own with no parenthesis and then in the list below, the key stroke you want VA to pass to the game

The parentheses do not stop VA recognising the spoken command in my version. (v1.5.8)

Everything looks ok.. Double click on the command (the part that says - press 1 key and hold for 0.03 seconds) Look halfway down the command for 'Key input method' confirm windows direct X is checked.

If it's not checked VA will ignore ED when the key is pressed.

When I messed around with VA, the way I tested it was to open up notepad and see if any input was made, Do you get any characters typed?

There needs to be a wait between key presses, if the key presses do not have a wait then it will not input correctly.
And remember it needs to be press and release. not just press.

It's a single key press, with release according to the screenshot.

Bind works in Elite through keyboard. Not getting any input to notepad, therefore no output from VA.

Make a new one? Define your own. Add a new command, remove the bug.

Dude.. Slow down and relax, double click on the command, that is the part in your screenshot that says 'Press 1 Key and HOLD' It will bring up a new window. Post a screenshot of that new window.

Ok, maybe you're right with first part, but the second part, that kind of suggestions I was looking for. thx

Sorry, a simple I don't understand would suffice.

777Driver knows more than I do anyway.

For the record I was suggesting to create a new command for the left panel within the profile you already have setup, that way you might remove the problems.

Hope you get it fixed!
