Anyone know an easy way to get a different voice into voice attack? All the stuff Ive read is old and always seems to include mucking about with regestry files. I know its linked to TTS in windows so it is more to do with that than VA.

Ivona is a fantastic TTS engine, very lifelike, though the Windows version costs real money. Still, you can't beat Amy's accent. (I've got her on my phone. I love how she pronounces boulevard as "Booo-levahd" in Google Maps. )

I got Jess (well not Jess, but her voice) from Cereproc. When she says "prepare for hyperspace jump, commander", I have a nerdgasm.

As easy as downloading and installing and then you can select the voice through voiceattack. Well, you have to buy it first ofc.

Luvn Voice Attack with Amy voice makes supercruising around a lot less boring. Also bought Head Tracker IR5 and Thrustmaster TFlight Hotas, makes life in te cockpit a lot easier.:smilie:

I went for Emma - she seemed more playful than Amy. Voice attack is a BARGAIN. Shame about the Ivona voices.

Ok Im becoming obsesed with it now . I have Amy and thats much better than Emma default. I have sat here all day , because I can, and mapped everything with responces and dialog. The more you add the more natural responces you get . I recon i a couple months Ill have enough to have a conversation with Amy lol.

The health benefits of a calm voice cannot be underestimated. Temptation, what would we be without it. Some kind of minerals most likely.

Edit: More the Emma type as well. Monogamy is preferable when they run off with your money.

I use Amy, and I also spend some time creating responses. I use multiple possible inputs and responses with the semicolon function, which makes the whole thing a lot more natural and less boring after a while. I have like 4 or 5 different responses for "deploy hardpoints". And I don't even have the game yet!
