This site actually has a trick where you can grab the MP3 it creates, I don't have the trick handy right now though, you can even create yoda like files with this one.

Thanks a ton for all your hardwork. After a few minutes playing about I've also found you can get some interesting results by typing english phonetically into the other language voices. This is gonna keep me amused for hours. Yes, yes Conchita. Just let me finish typing this and I'll be right back....

I know what you mean, I could end up spending more time doing this than playing the game!

Tried Acapela earlier, didn't find any voices I liked.

The best voice I've found so far isn't available as a Demo on the IVONA site. It's Natalie on their Voice Portfolio page http://www.ivona.com/en/about-us/voice-portfolio/ She can be found under "English, British"

Queen Elizabeth is hilarious. Russian Alyona is my favourite so far from the Acapela site. Sort of sexy Chekov. Damn I am wasting so much time with this....

Or if you don't want all the work, you can download this voice pack, already pre packed and will extract into your directory includes profiles ready to use. And is very cheap. £4.99 i think. it also has a Galaxapedia and ship descriptions spoken by Astra.
i am in no way associated with this project, but i have used it myself for ages now, it works perfect and is a lot cheaper than buying ivona ect.
