I guess this was always a very strong probability. I was just completely unprepared for the impact that this had on me. Serves me right for forming a stupid emotional bond with a procedurally generated game asset.

Gain Influence in the system.
Send an email to FD, state your intentions and you might still get Khelders Keep on that very spot.

They also got rid of the monolith. Sometimes I wonder if FD are in touch with us? Yes I know they were bug fixing, but like other times, they could have made an exception of a few places.

I hadn't checked, but I assumed that would be the case. All of these quirks are now gone.

I was (still a little bitter) upset with the loss of Lester's Plateau because of the person connection I made with it. But I'm frustrated in general with the loss of all of them. I know they were bugs and I know there were a number of people against keeping them. But they made for such unique 'wonders' in a galaxy of planets which are mostly the same. It's a shame they couldn't have been cleaned-up/adapted somehow (or just ignored) rather than just removing them altogether.

They would have made perfect locations for the tourism list. [mad]

Back to Anurinjung

In two days time, it will be the anniversary of my father's passing. The year has gone so fast. I'd been planning to head back to Anurinjung 2A for the date. Back to the spot that once was Lester's Plateau.

I've been out in the black so I'm rushing back now. Only 4000 or so Ly to go. Not sure what I'll do when I get there. Guess I'll make that up as I go.

Very sorry to hear it is gone, would have been a very cool thing to have in game.

A magical idea and an emotional tie to the game world. I sincerely hope the station gets into the game! At the very least, the space blarney stone would be an excellent tourist hot spot!
