VR experience broken with bugs

Hello CMDRs - is anyone aware of any posts or other information involving FDev performing any work on resolving the VR issues in Odyssey? The DSS scanner is broken and one is unable to successfully scan planets for regular exploration and unable to use filters correctly in order to find locations for bioscanning.

An entire chunk of the game can't be experienced, not to mention the performance issues are insane in VR, on-foot and in-ship. I imagine once the general performance issues are resolved with the desktop game, that would translate somewhat over to VR.

I just feel lost here, I can't play the game at all, and playing in desktop mode is not a solution to this (I'm sure anyone who's been an ongoing VR player would share this sentiment).

I've created a few tickets already and am keeping track of a few others and have tried every trick for boosting performance from the other forums but unfortunately my setup hasn't benefited from any suggestions (16GB RAM, B450, RTX 3060, Ryzen 5 3600).

Here are a few tickets I'm personally watching if anyone else is interested:

1. Detailed Surface Scanner is not working correctly in VR - https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/27832
2. [VR] Free camera bindings are not registering - https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/27844

I also have a locked free camera.

Honestly, in the middle of all the crap, I did enjoy playing Odyssey yesterday, without any server issues. I cranked everything to the absolute max, including that "Ultra4marketing" setting, and "accepted" the low fps (very low near settlements).

I went to have a gaze at the Horsehead, but I almost couldn't see it in the darkness. It helped using "free" cam, except not being able to move it gets that AspX very dominating in the FOV.

In the (probably very) long run all of this should be fixable.
