VR Hair from top strap - anyone else?

Is it me, or is everyone getting VR hair from the top strap on their Rift/Vive??? :O

I have short spiky hair which now sports a pronounced inch-wide flat line down the middle of my head! (LOL)

This is from 2 hours per night... :)

Same here, losing the few hears I still have on front top due to the strap. I'm thinking about a possible solution, strapping something around the middle of the top strap to only make contact here where I have more hairs...

Well I haven't ever had any hmd, helmet or hat hair worse than just wetting with water and a light combing couldn't fix.

My problem with the rift is the marks on my cheekbones.
If I play at all I have them for the remainder of the day...

Easy fix.

Shave it.
Shave it all.

I've been doing this for years, well prior to getting my rift. not only does it help you maintain a more comfortable temperature in hotter climates, I have ZERO issues with "rift head" outside of the inevitable "O" face :D

haha cheers fellas - reps to all.

No, I'm not losing my hair - I still have all mine, so its difficult to shave it all off and not have peach fuzz/velcro after a day or two.

But, yeah, sometimes it looks like I have a flat racing stripe line down th middle, and no it doesn't comb out :p

I think only the Trump can pull that off.

How does the bandanna keep the hmd from steaming up? I ask cos that happens to me sometimes.

It collects moisture that builds up under the foam (as it sits on the bandana now on the forehead and the sides). Works quite well. When its hot outside, it helps to close the gap between HMD and nose with a piece of cloth as well...
