VR specs for Horizons

I'd take their specs with a pinch of salt... to be honest I'm amazed they have released them so early as they can't be accurate. Minimum specs to play a version of the game that doesn't yet exist (by the time CV1 launches we'll be on another version of Elite) on a headset that's not yet released using optimised runtime software that doesn't yet exist? Guess much FD?

The Vive is expected to "launch" in the very near future, along with Horizons. I would assume Valve/HTC asked FDev for the hardware specs for advertising purposes.

It amazes me how there is nothing about Gameworks VR, considering that if gameworks vr is added to elite dangerous it will help with VR and minimum specs. As all VR users know that it does stuff to boost performance plus also has the SLI config for VR, such as using a GPU for each eye. Yet they just keep saying Oculus 0.5. Also when someone ask David on the Livestream he said, "whats gameworks VR with SLI" and then said that SLI is already supported but not didn't know anything about gameworks VR. That annoyed me a little, Also from some benchmarks 2 970's in SLI has more performance then a Titan and considering you can get 2 970's for the same price or less depending on sales then a 980ti.

I guess if enough people keeps asking for Gameworks VR support, they may finally add it. Plus considering Frontier only has to add VR SLI and MultiRes Shading from the Gameworks VR SDK and the other parts like direct to HMD and other stuff is done by Valve and Oculus.
