VR vs Projector...
VR wins clearly. Even if you could play ED in the best cinema on the world with the biggest screen, VR still wins easily. No normal display in any form can compete with VR, completely impossible.
Thats the short answer and everyone that know VR well enough will say something like that.

I bet we will have an Smartphone App or something others with that you can blend in a notice in the VR HMD or so, so you know someone want something from you. Bette than have a hand on your shoulder when you playing in VR.ditto, got a full cinema room etc with all the gubins. Play on a dk2 in my office but do have good headphones. Running balanced hd800's through a fully balanced dac/amp. The sound superb, the immersion superb. resolution out of the cockpit a bit but with in game supersample the cockpit is fine!!! To be fair probably a setup of half decent iems would be better and a hell of a lot cheaper but I need to be able to hear the wife calling...so open backed headphones for me
