My guess would be that they will eventually implement it, but they are so far behind that they cant even say when, hence no plans, ie not in the plan yet. In the mean time VR numbers will continue to grow and so will performance and specs of players machines. At some point and if EDO survives long enough, it will make economic sense to fully implement VR. Especially when you consider the hype around the meta verse and VR etc. As frustrating as EDO VR support is at this time Im grateful that such a VR experience even exists. I think we are pretty lucky to have a semi sim that lets you explore a virtual galaxy in a space ship! Even if EDO stayed in its current VR form for the next five years, I cant wait to run it in superior GPUs and HMDs with bigger FOV, higher resolutions for years to come. Some of the brief moments you get out exploring will never get old and will only improve with better hardware.
