Wait, am I a woman?

I meant to mention this yesterday when I was testing my VR.
I finally had a chance to look down at my (somewhat headless) character body and noticed that I have a distinctly "feminine" shape.
Obviously nothing wrong with this, but being male IRL I'd quite like to set my avatar to match.
Is there an option for this somewhere that I've missed?
Is the avatar just "made that way"?

And more to the point, how do I pick up Jazz FM? (I've been twiddling for hours now, and still nothing... well, almost nothing. There was an imperceptible whine of some sort...)

Trust me, when you start walking around the cockpit to gaze out the window or admire the fine interior craftsmanship of your ship. When you go to sit down again.. you'll want to keep that setting on female I tell ya, lol

You have to be out of the game at the main menu as well to change the setting.
