it seems more like a nightmare.
While it may be true that the game is perfectly satisfactory as it is for a lot of players out there, no game will survive for long unless it continually improves. The developers need to continue to add more features to the game or else they risk a) not being able to bring in new players and b) losing current players to newer games that have eclipsed ED by adding many more features than what ED has right now. From what I have been told, Star Citizen started out as a fiasco but in recent years has started to improve to the point where it can be taken seriously now. What if that game continues to improve and other games start showing up with tons of features? ED has a pretty good handle on space flight. To stay ahead of the rest of the pack, it needs to start seriously working on additional features. Odyssey is the start for space legs but more will have to be done later in order to keep that momentum going.
