Wandered into Thargoid system

Agreed that the recalculate button should always work (I seem to recall being able to do it more readily in EDH).
Not sure I understand some of the rest of what you're saying though - do you mean my memory is wrong about bookmark-driven routing bypassing the filter?
Nah, the 7 selectable filter buttons.... For some reason the 'Apply filter to route' gets deselected half the time you click one of the filter buttons.

Lets say you setup your filter for 'Star type - KGBFOAM' for your trip to wherever... A system in your route has Bio's, you stop to scan... You change map view to see all stars to see if there are any 'H'-Mass stars nearby, maybe you can get lucky and catch a triple black hole system.... nope, nothing interesting, so you hit 'next system in route 'key binding' and attempt to jump... and of course you can't jump cause now it comes up with that stupid message telling you 'You Can't Jump' (even though you just got finished fuel scooping before going to find that dang Frutexa in the mountains... So you go back to select that KGBFOAM filter and click recalculate so it will let you jump to continue on your travels.... you click the Star Type filter... half of the time it un-checks 'Apply filter to route' ( but you didn't notice because you already setup your kgbfoam from before... doesn't make sense that your jump range has changed) . Now it starts routing non-KGBFOAM' stars mixed into your route.... That's because when you clicked on the 'star type filter, it un-checked the 'Apply filter to route'.

Sorry if I'm not typing clearly... So tired that I fell asleep 4 times writing this... and that was number 5...

I noticed that some time ago. I think I've logged an issue on a tracker. It's probably expired by now :D

If the "Apply filter to route" option stays on, it works for me. I generally fly with the "not-visited" filter. When I have visited every system within jump range from the target system, I get a "Route unavailable" error.

To find ammonia worlds, I hopped around between F- and G-class stars, plotting routes to temporary bookmarks. I had to reset the "apply" option a few times.

Edit: an AND option would be very welcome, so I could combine both star class and "haven't been there before" filters.

The "apply filter to route" never stays on for me, I keep getting White Dwarfs into my routes, despite never having them ticked on. Apparently the "apply filter to route" gets deselected everytime you select another category, such as system states for example.
If it had been done properly, it would still avoid White Dwarfs even after switching over to show System States.
