Want to buy lavian brandy 1M/10 Ton

There you go boys and girls. Supply is now in more manageable levels! [hehe]

If a war breaks out again, we will make sure that it finishes as soon as possible.

Same number of trips, more actually. Now you can only take 9 instead of 10, you just afk in station less.

Unless you do the drop/buy more/collect thing, then you could get 18 with a ten minute wait or 27 with a 20 minute wait (assuming you always get 9 available I guess ..)
Or find a friend with a bigger ship and one collects and hands off to the bigger ship for storage/transport.

I was not able to get it to work, they despawned and the timer would not advance while i had them in my inventory.

A friend who plays this would be very helpful.

You can see exactly how many people are interested in this emergent content based on the number of people talking vs the number of people running booze for fun

Nothing wrong with some engineers being easier or harder to access than others. Gives them more character if anything else.

This one just wants to have liver failure before you are trustworthy enough. The customer will be the one to have the final laugh.

Bringing 200 brandy is not hard, it's tedious. Once again, tedious != hard...

And 200 tons, he's filling an olympic pool with it ? For sure this shows charachter XD

If I could secure a lifelong supply of ice tea, I'd so it as well.

So I can fully understand her! She knows how to secure what she wants!

Three possible reason for this odd choice for Didi:
1) The 200 qty was intentional, bc FD hates us. This is one way to show their contempt.
2) It is a typo. Fumbly fingers and thumbs are a contagious illness at FD.
3) FD is trying to delay progress on this engineer for some reason. The NPC's have taken over and are trying to prevent further player modifications of our ships.
1) seems unlikely it makes absolutely no sense for a business to hate its customers, and even if they do, showing it only ends up hurting themselves, so yeah, put away the tin foil hat :p
2) seems likely, though I can tell you from experience, that 'fumble fingers' in programming is insanely common, there is only so much code that can be created quickly without making typo's or that many lines entered into a system or such (chat dialogs) before typos happen.
3) seems a weird choice to only do it to basically two engineers then.

Most coding (with a consumer base, meaning deadlines and such) is actually running around like a headless chicken trying to put out the fire while dealing and trying to accommodate user requests and wishes.
Coding as a single person with your own project is quite easy.
But the moment there's who knows how many coders in on something, even if you know who is who and who does what, and even with good comments, yeah, stuff quickly gets confusing, especially when someone did something a way THEY found logical, but seems completely backwards to you...add hundreds of thousands of lines of code or more.........yeah...

I apparently should have made it clear I was joking in my comment/list. Poe's law and all.....and I shall fall prey to such a law from your response and others. :D

4) The BGS is working just fine, reducing production of rare goods.
5) There is no reason to need to have access to this engineer by some certain date or time.
6) FD are thinking players may band together and crank these out (when the production bumps back up). But I guess it isn't emergent content unless it has an official in game narrative provided by FD...

I'm disappointed that you took my list seriously and injected logic into your assessment. Try harder next time! :)
I agree with your list, BTW.

I had the idea hence emoticon with number 1, you brought up some things that people have used and not joked about though so I thought I'd try to reply to that as well, because joking/sarcasm is hard to see in text without any real indicators, that's what emoticons are for in my book, to clarify something that can be a gray topic.

Very true. The lesson here is to not make comments when you're feeling a bit punchy due to sleep deprivation and after workday lunchtime. I can't make any promises in that though! :)
Do note, emoticons will be more accessible to my statements....hopefully at a minimum.

Let's assume 1 liter of booze per bottle, that's 200 liters of fluid.

That's less than half the size of a regular sized bathtub (I have an aquarium that takes 375 liters of water and it's the size of a tight bathtub.

It's still a LOT of booze and combined with 50K+ commanders he just might fill a swimming pool.

If the bottle is one liter, why does it weight 1 ton ? Assuming 10% packaging, 20% for the bottles this leaves 700 liters per ton, times 200.

140 cubic meters of brandy per CMDR. Assuming a pool of 50x25x2.8, thats one pool per 25 CMDR's...

with 50K CMDR's we're speaking 30 time the exxon valdez worth of brandy. lol FD.
