War in LFT 37

Just wanted to give you some numbers from that night the fight started:

RoA lost 2
RSM lost 1
51TH lost 2
Varangian Syndicate lost 2

That's 7 losses in total.

On the other side we have logged the following:

GPL lost 7
Paladins lost 2
BBfA lost 2
Unknown pilots who were in the combat instances lost 3

That's twice as many losses on our enemy's side.

We used Elite's logging system to confirm the numbers, that's the best we can do in terms of real and validated numbers. We wrote a specific query to log every kill and death in the systems where the battle lasted between 7pm and midnight. I also added some losses on our side which were not in the logs because the 2 people who exploded there didn't have access to our database. Take it as a gift for your killcount ;)

As others have said before, you can't win every fight. Everyone loses a wingman or two in these battles but admit it if you got rekt and don't twist the numbers in your favor and post them on the forums. It will make you look like an idiot.

At least RoA, RSM and the like don't exclusively fight when they have overwhelming numbers. Some groups (especially from Xbox) can learn from that.

But that's enough said for the day.

Shooting ships is not griefing regardless of if they are non-combat ships.

Even if we used the definition of griefer as shooting trade ships without a reason (which still isn't griefing) it is clear that we don't do that. We are at war, all Paladin ships are targets.

Just to be clear the Paladins also shoot at RSM trade ships but we aren't daft enough to get killed.

As for ganking, while there are times that we will outnumber you we are just as happy fighting with fewer than you and that happens just as often.

Ganking carried the implication that greater numbers are required to win and fights are not engaged unless they are present, that is certainly not RSM but it does sound a little like some other groups you know ;)

Does RSM have traders?

as i said in the german forum and this is my profession for more than 20 years.

the only point to grab all the data of the battle is ONLY at the frontier server database. all other is just a snapshot.
besides it seem to me that the uk forum is much different based on manner than the german forum so i see no object for us to continue the fight against the propaganda in the forum.

and who cares. friday night was the first battle in this war and we have the man power to send 4 or more wings every night. so we will see WHO will be in LFT in Open in the next week or the next month or in any future. [alien]

The numbers are good, FDev implemented journalling in 2.2 that records, with other things, all PvP kills and losses on each players PC.

Here is my POV from Friday night. Enjoy ;)

EDIT:

Does RSM have traders?

Well we have Cmdrs that do some trading sometimes but I guess calling them traders is a bit of a stretch. We do have a small but very effective group of mainly PvE Cmdrs.

A "snapshot" that gives us an good overview of what happened that night. You were massively exaggerating when you brought up 20 kills on your side. You think it changes anything that this is your profession? We in RoA have some excellent coders too, all with years of experience in their business. If you would take a look at your logs you would see how much data is actually at your hands. Most if not any of the CMDRs who joined us that night uploaded their logs so this is the most accurate data you could get. But don't worry, we will continue to fill our database and give you more than a snapshot.

The last nights have been pretty successful for us. We managed to take down several Corvettes from Paladins and BBfA. Seems like your titan tactics didn't work very well for you. Remember that this is a war you declared on us. We won't play by your rules and show up in LFT every time you kindly ask for it. We will hit you and your little armada wherever and whenever we want and we won't announce where you have to look for us the next time.

You don't have to fight against our propaganda here on the UK forums since we try to present raw data and raw footage from the fights. Leave it to the people themselves to judge who is winning the fights and who gets stomped on.

I got killed once yesterday didnt get any kill. No big deal.

I am learning, having fun fighting good pvp pilots. Or more like trying to fight. [ugh]

Pretty sure I will learn though. And get some engineering done on my ship.

That is all that counts.

Nice fighting you guys yesterday. Apart from the instancing that really sucks, was fun :)

Hmmm.... don't think it's a Combat Log because it isn't officially classified as a combat situation and he did take damage at a point where he wouldn't have taken damage if it was an actual combat log. What's most likely is that Akuma Tebori saved and exited to the main menu.

He logged out while i attacked him in front of a station. there is no other way to attack him there without the station killing me. he could have easily escaped via docking or jumping out but nah he has chosen the easy way. few hours before this he said on the german forums that he wont escape from fights anymore and that he will stay in until he wins or dies. he changed his opinion rather fast.

Hahaha

"oh, this thread does not run like i expectet... better i call the mods for closing the thread"

Best trick ever!

Pardon?
This strated as a neutral event thread, noone was named, blamed or what ever.
The last posts were nothing but mimimimi between RoA and Akuma. Not counting the posts deleted by the mods for obvious reasons.
ZERO content added to the thread.
