Wasn't there a tool for optimal course length plotting to Sag A*?

I did search here and I thought I'd bookmarked it...

But this tool calculated the optimal course length to plot a route for dependent on how far you were out from Sag A*.

Can anyone pls help me find this again?!! :D

P.S. With further updates is this even still necessary?

You can work out the optimum jump distance from your ships jump range, its straight forward and works well, I used it myself at the core.

That tool was used because it used to be very difficult to plot a course when the star density was high, like in the core.
That problem was fixed a few patches ago so that tool is no longer necessary. You can plot a course of any length in just a few seconds, in the core or not.

I just recently went to Colonia and then to Sag A* and found this tool useful:

https://www.spansh.co.uk/

If you set the efficiency to 100%, it sets a fairly straight course. Didn't use any neutron stars at all for that journey.

On the galaxy map: the course plotting range still seems to be limited to 1000ly, and the thing chokes in the dense star fields around the center, in particular if you use the star class filters to plot the route (had it set to only include the main sequence stars most of the time). I got a i7-7700K, so the CPU should not be the bottleneck here. Started in 2.2.03 and returned a few days after 2.3 went live. Wish they did allow for more than just 125 bookmarks.
