Sugrivik needs help lol. This game is getting to be such a waste of time. Travel almost 300 LY. Get to system and check every station and around the system. Not one indication of anything relating to the withdrawal From federation stuff in galnet. Absolutely nothing in any mission in any station relating to it at all. There should be at least one mini story line mission related to this that has multiple missions. I don't know why I expected this to be different from all the others. FD stop wasting our time please and get on it and fix this. You are loosing too many players by not fixing bugs and not implementing real missions relating to context with stories we can get involved in. I like the game idea but starting to get really board with the lack of content and bug fixes.

Complains about them not fixing bugs or adding new features when a patch just came out today, and they just posted about new features about to be put into beta, and then soon after release...
Obviously had not played the game for long or after. The patch sucked. Very small and didn't address the tons of bugs people have been complaining about. you'll feel the same after a while. I've been playing since early beta and nothing great has changed or been added since. And that's not a good thing.
Time enjoyed is never time wasted and though the game can be extremely frustrating at times, I for one just cannot stop playing
I think the point of the thread was the fact that Galnet has reported the Sugrivik system to be "calling on CMDRs to help it wihdraw the Sugrivik system from the Federation." This is here to spark interest in the players and it creates activities in that certain system. The problem is when you make the 100 LY trek to Sugrivik you get there and find out nothing is going on and it's just like the system you were in an hour ago.
You obviously did not read the post. He was only stating facts not an opinion. Only the wasting time part was opinion because im sure someone out there likes to go to a place that is supposed to have something going on and there is nothing.
1. fact no difference in the activities or missions at the destination system/stations
2. fact FD is loosing players.
3. fact Ed has a lack of content and very limited missions that are the same no matter where you go in the whole galaxy.
4. fact lots of bugs in game that are not getting fixed. Yes a few are but (opinion.is not enough)
5. fact there are no missions with contextual story lines to involve you in the game.
6. fact there will be tons of people saying this isn't fact and that they love the game how it is and nothing is broken. But bottom line is. that there is and I want as many people to play as possible and I hate to see people leaving the game over things that could have been tidied up.

You new to this whole gaming forum thing? That is attention seeking and nothing more, it happens on every forum for every game ever. In fact the only thing that will tell you for certain that a game is dying is if there isn't any "I quit" threads on the forum. Then you know theres trouble.

When making claims such as these the onus is actually on you to prove it, not for others to disprove it.
Yes, empirically FD are losing players - but empirically FD are also gaining players. Hollow, rite?
"Losing players" != a mass exodus. Remember that only maybe ~10% of people in any game actually visit said game's forums, and only ~10% of those actually post more than once. Especially in a mature-age-oriented game like this.

Same thing happened to me. I didn't want to miss out because of time zone differences like I did at Ongbaku, so I blasted booster to Sugrivik at breakneck speeds only to find... Absolutely nothing. Decided to just live at Barcisses(sp) until that conflict dries up. Tons o fun in the high intensity conflict zones.
Listen i'm not here to argue with anyone, all i can say is that i really enjoy the game. What I dont enjoy is pretty much what OP posted. It is starting to become a drag.
I bought an extra copy for my brother. Thought we could have some fun in this game... Well he no longer plays for the same reasons as OP. (well there is at least one player)
Even when Wings comes out i still fear that yes YAY FINALLY we can group and play co op but to what end? it will be a rude awakening when you find yourself in a group but still unable to actually do anything besides deliver stuff and look at pretty pictures and kill people with no bearing on the system or galaxy around you. just saying.
Again Not trying to argue, hell it is impossible to argue a point of view I want this to be the #1 game on the market i am having fun a lot of fun ATM but for how long?
and yes yes i know that most of these whine post are cries for attention, thinking somewhere in their head that someone will listen agree and somehow make a change. but if you read it without the opinion this is the greatest game ever then and now and will continue to get better you have to see it for what it is now. People get bored very quickly with the whole i want instant satisfaction generation.
But i guess it is what it is for now to be continued. Sorry for spelling and punctuation posting from my phone.

And OP, lol, the game can't be "fixed", when it's already working as intended. They inject the event and then players decide how they can play along, developing on the event by using their imagination. What you ask for is modern warfare in space with a central story holding your hand to the massive nucular explosion in the end. Not that kind of game. Ain't happening.
