WATER PARK FOR NEXT DLC !

We all want the Aquatic Park for planet coaster, I think the developers do not know enough to do it, so if you want, post a comment and write "I want the water park"!
In order to make a maximum so that the developers do it to us :)

Actually I don't. I am fine with other people getting it, I'd be happy for them, but please don't speak for everyone.

I rather see more water attractions get added to Planet Coaster instead of a full Water Park DLC. I would like to see a shoot the chute water ride get added to Planet Coaster.

Sorry, yes they should actually add more aquatic attractions but with a water park it would be even better! but anyway, a lot of things are missing on this game[squeeeeee]

I'd like to see different things.

And as water isn't perfectly integrated in the game I doubt it will even come.

Like Coasterfan says, I'd like more water rides, but not a specific water park DLC. Like I said before, I don't think it's part of what a a theme park should be, but that is how I think of it.

I want a Aquatic themed DLC.
- Water biome (having an island as park, and the outside is water (maybe have some land that we can see in the far distance, but that's all) or ability to terraform the outside of the park so we can put water (and then choose any biome and change the surroundings)
- Aquatic rides (modern bobsled ride, waterslides, pools, etc.
- water effects and shows : a water show that allows to use video on it to make water projections), water shows we can do just like the fireworks

And yes, some theme parks have a big use of water rides, and some parks are full water parks (water is a theme...), amusement is not just rides and coasters, it can also be with water and water rides.

So many want water parks... I for one, am not a fan of water parks. Perhaps a sequel to Planet Coaster called Planet Splash. For a water park to function appropriately Frontier would need to fix the water texture in the game. It's basically a mirrored surface. I saw several players post on this that Bo stated in a LIVE stream that they weren't focusing on water parks. Now, as others have said, more water rides would be great in the game. Super Flume to create rides like Tidal Wave with massive splashdowns, shoot the chutes with flumes like Splash Mountain, an interactive water raft ride with blast-cannons that riders used and bystanders could use (would be perfect for a Pirate theme). If we do get a Splash DLC that consisted of water rides they need to get the water particles and texture fixed first.

Please don't speak for me. I don't want water parks. Never liked them for a theme park. They should, in my opinion, be a separate park/game.

As others have said, more water attractions, yes. Water parks, no!

Surely a game called "Planet Waterpark" would be better suited?

I have been to Florida and enjoyed the 'wet rides' (Duddley Doright Falls I remember fondly), but being from the UK, waterparks don't tend to do so well in the UK climate on account of there only (usually) being about 2 weeks of decent weather (we are being spoilt with a really long hot summer something as remarkable as England being in the Semi-Finals of the World Cup).

I always thought the RCT3 Soaked expansion didn't provide enough to make just a waterpark but of course, people did create content to make it passable. Planet Coaster is not yet open to mods so... I think a DLC pack for "water parks" will be sadly under par or be priced so expensive as to be a new game entirely.

I personally don't need waterslides or stuff like that. But I really would like to get more water rides (Boat rides, more log flumes, river rafting (different boats), Whale Watching Tours like in Europapark and maritime or Jules Verne style steampunk water scenery and building items).[big grin]

even when others dont like it

I MISS IT LIKE HELL

RCT3 Soaked that was absolut cool but it can have more stuff and with the beautyness of planet coaster

YES PLEASE !!

1 big park, rest areas , coaster area ,water area , some animals for kids like pony ride, ohboy when is the download ready?? :)

I do not understand why some people do not want the Aquatic Park, it's still a great thing ![woah]

I think the people in this thread, myself included, that don't want a water park DLC have stated their own, personal reasons why not. very clearly. That should be more than sufficient to understand why.?

I understand that for many people it is rather aquatic attractions but if they add them to the water park it would be even better for everyone to be happy !

No disrespect to those who want a water park add-on. But Soaked in RCT3 days wasn't very popular. I remember ShyGuy days and the amount of parks players created you hardly saw water parks. You'd catch a glimpse of a recreation of Typhoon Lagoon or a Six Flags water park, but most of the creations were mainly standard amusement parks. I think an individual game like Planet Splash (or Planet Aquatics) would be perfect for those who want to build and manage water parks.

Soaked and Wild both weren't popular. I do like that they added animal animatronics into the game, and that we do need more of. Now rides like rowing boats, paddle boats, bumper boats, cannoes, a real Steam Boat transport ride, along with Super Flume, Shoot the Chutes and Submarines would bring so much more to our parks. Maybe even new water features like blast cannons and tipping buckets that gave our peeps an actual reaction or even gave a wet texture would be ideal. But as far as water parks go, overall, it's just not that popular. I mean, y'all can see from the thread... there's not that many topics on the discussion of water parks.

I live 2 miles from Dollywood and Splash Country and I've never been to Splash Country... why? Water parks are just not appealing... 10,000 sweaty people bathing in public water (my friend Karen is a lifeguard at Splash Country and she told me stories about fishing feces out of the pool) and little kids pee in pools... yeah, don't get me near it... it's nasty lol. But to each their own.

Well, there is a game called Water Park Tycoon. But, it looks to be just water parks, no coasters or other dry rides. I think for Planet Coaster they could start with a dinghy slide which requires a lift though like a coaster. And make the people able to swim to make swimming pools. I don’t go in my local water park much anymore for those reasons, it’s connected with an amusement park that dates back to 1884. I usually just go on the dry side. For one, in the summer especially weekends the water park is jam packed and a lot of non-whites, too from NJ, NY, and Philly, they actually drive all that distance to go to the park for the day or they might stay at a nearby hotel, there are two across from the park and two others nearby. They have two wave pools but I think kids spit in them. When we travel I’ll use the hotel pools and hot tubs though. I would love to travel to Gatlinburg, TN but it’s over 500 miles from me. They have a few walk through haunted houses and indoor mini golfs, which all survived the fires a while back. And Dollywood is nearby, and other attractions. The Park Vista Doubletree Hotel is high up on the hill and overlooks Gatlinburg. It has a circular 15 floor atrium with glass elevators and a large indoor pool area. That’s where I would stay for a few days if I went there. I was never in Tennessee before. I was in North Carolina, and Walt Disney World though years ago. I love parks with steam trains, WDW, Cedar Point, Dollywood, Kings Island, Knotts Berry Farm and a few others have them. My local park has two train rides, one is a 1935 diesel streamliner replica and the other is a fake steam train added 1993.

I would love more water rides rather than to build a water park, however I am sure if there was a water park DLC, it would come with useful scenary etc, and of course it would make many happy. It's just not the highest thing on my list.

Personally I'd like to see one but I don't think they are going to make one unless they make a sequel.

This has become my thinking recently too, as we near version 2.0 I think we can start expecting a full sequel PlanCo2 which would hopefully be fully backward compatible with the current workshop items, DLC, and have an extended career mode. Then they could hopefully improve the UI, AI, Frame rate performance, etc. before they add water parks and other water features to the series!

Surely a game called "Planet Waterpark" would be better suited?
or Planet Lagoon [wink] https://forums.planetcoaster.com/sh...e-of-Expansions-or-Add-Ons-are-you-hoping-for

I played RCT3 when it was new and my personal experience was that many players shared/uploaded parks from the Soaked expansion. I personally did not enjoy the Wild expansion mainly because it ran poorly, and I would say Wild certainly had fewer parks uploaded, but the Soaked expansion was and still is quite popular, not only for the fact that it focused on water stuff, but also because it added a lot of other rides, scenery, additional features and little improvements to the base game.

I respect others opinion/choice to dislike water parks for whatever reason, but it would be such a waste for a separate game to be made. Like with Jurassic World Evolution, it looks like a great game but wouldnt it be more amazing if it could have worked as an expansion to PlanCo (if say it wasnt made for consoles)

I think a lot of people are expecting the PlanCo series to follow in the footsteps of RCT3 because of the fact that frontier owns/copyrighted the name Planet Safari, which would be an awesome expansion for PlanCo but IMO it would seem like a terrible waste to make PlanSafari as a separate stand-alone game, just as would be for a water park game.

If the devs were to make a game along the lines of either water parks or safaris, wouldnt it be silly to not have it be compatible with the current workshop items? Think about another zoo game like JWE but its called PlanetSafari now imagine that game utilizing everything PlanCo uses, the terrain tools, the moduler buildings, etc etc, but only it was a stand-alone game that has a separate workshop that is not compatible with PlanCo... don't you think that would cause a lot of complaints from people and that less people would buy it compared to if it were a compatible expansion?

I also think these expansions would contain a lot of core features, if implemented properly, that would draw in a much wider audience. It seems Euro players are more about "themes" which is cool, but I think the American audience would be more into the simplicity of water parks. At least thats how I felt about the Soaked expansion, it was calming and relaxing to setup a cool pool complex, much like the real life experience that you get from water parks [cool]

Plus, theres already quite a lot of creations on the workshop already which are all about water parks
seems like these shouldnt be ignored https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=planet+coaster+water+parks
