Hello CMDRs. Over the last 4 months I have been planning and filming footage to make this video possible. Tens of thousands of LYs around the galaxy, countless Thargoid encounters and a whole lot of activities in between. The idea was simple - show what ED is about, and who is it about - the players. They make the game. They are Elite. Elite Dangerous.

Awesome video. My computer is a bit weak, so it's easy for me to forget just how good this galaxy can look. The community around this game is capable of building things that are both functional (third party tools) and beautiful (videos like this).

Two things make me sick about this...
I am always impressed how talented some of my fellow commanders are... you are flying and watching the same space like me... but i am not as talented to make pictures like that!
@FRONTIERDEVELOPMENT... damnit... look at this, marketing wake up! Do you even have a marketing? It makes me crazy to see all these fantastic vids from your players... and you do... nothing?! The last professional trailers are how long ago... 3 years?!?* While other unfinished space games sell their for 100 of millions with fake videos?!? This video is all directly out of the game! Damnit... buy stuff like this, if you don't do it yourself! I am pretty sure, some will do it for free ARX, small money or even just credits for references... get these work to your homepages, social media and so on and keep the machine running!

* i don't count the vid sequences for the narrative in game as trailers for marketing... i totally appreciated these videos and the work the devs put in there!

I don’t normally watch videos such as yours but… whole heartedly agree with @Mohawk_ger above. This would make for a great marketing piece. Unbelievable that it’s all in game footage - great stuff.

Sometimes we forget what's been achieved. There are many great space games, and there's a bit for everyone's taste. Still IMO Elite is the Bestest Damn Space Sim Ever!
