The worse grind is remapping the controls when you have a HOTAS.

Having renamed my bindings years ago to something sensible, I have never had any issues where remapping was needed.
Although, when the 32 key limit was removed, I removed the split on my Virpil Throttle, so remade the bindings, which took a few hours over a couple of sessions.

Why is this the only game to wipe your settings.

i find it hard to believe a person wants to play casually and also wants to pvp in this game. it takes alot of time to be a good pilot in this game.

This. Casual play and PvP don't fit well in Elite.

At least not if you want to compete against meta FdLs.

i just bought a cobra mkv and engineered it and haven't played much past 2 years, and that ship is teaching me what a pilot i am, even though i have many hours in this game
