I wish we could assign multiple controls to a single input.

I have some rudder pedals that I would like to use for Yaw but find the learning curve steep and have to go back to the options to rebind to X52 twist. Having both mapped would be great!

Voice Attack will made redundant by the X-55 now

Don't believe it. Voice Attack still has many uses both in-combat and out-of-combat. It's the combination of the X-55 and Voice Attack that really brings the game to life for me.
