TBH, I don’t see much wrong with the model as-is…. Indeed, I think it looks great. You’d have to be trying hard to find anything to complain about.

I agree it doesn't look right. It's actually less cute than the real thing, which is weird, because usually PZ animals are stylized a bit to make them cartoonier and even cuter. Making it less cute was a weird choice. Hopefully a modder can fix it.

I think the meerkat looks a little chubby, and there could be some modifications made if need be, but it's nowhere near the binturwrong. If they hadn't told us what that animal was upon the first reveal, half of us wouldn't have been able to guess, most likely. Or would have guessed it was a tanuki. The meerkat look 95% of the way right, and is clearly a meerkat.

I'm quite happy with the model! I don't expect or even necessarily want hyperrealism out of our animal models, so for me the meerkat is perfect!
