Wealth statistics

mmm ... about the same as a non engineered combat corvette?

sorry i have no info. i'd say inara is your best digging spot but since only a subset of players use it you will be immediately butchered and mocked (or mocked and butchered) if you dare to publish any conclusion based on that data. good luck!
Like any other source but Frontier. :(

I recently started gambling and added 3 billion to my amassed fortune, but a couple of weeks later i lost that 3 billion. I'm not sure what happened but I woke up one morning and it was gone. I can only assume that whilst in my onion head induced state, I either ...
A) amassed a huge fleet of ships and forgot where I parked them
B) gambled it away with no knowledge of it
C) some unscrupulous corporate company heard about my windfall and found a way to relieve me of my new found wealth using dirty underhand untraceable methods.

The recent stock market crash caused by ARX's takeover also lost me money, so as you can see it's been a rather eventful month. Either way it's made me appreciate my current assets all the more and re-evaluate my lifestyle choices. No longer am I interested in amassing wealth, material asset's or keeping up with the Jones's. Gone are my days of cruising around in blinged up ships, high on onion head whilst sipping Lavian brandy with the rich and famous. I'm now living a more humble lifestyle in my semi-retirement away from the rat race and corporate greed.

About 2.3 billion in total. 1.1 in cash, rest in assets. Two ships and a lot of modules, some modules do not even fit for my current ships but are stored for a day I buy something that they will fit.

The issue with any attempt to figure this kind of thing out is, only players with a particular level of investment in the game bother to use the 3P sites which track this kind of data.
So long as this isn't something you can pull from an API, then the available data will always skew to a self-selected minority demographic.

PS4 CMDR - Credits 8,060,801,521, Assets 11,854,600,716
Alt PC CMDR - Credits 9,019,914,441, Assets 12,205,090,105
Main PC CMDR - Credits 10,004,141,684, Assets 13,698,961,904

I come from the 'old skool' 1984 ideology that the game is all about making money.

Inara is still a pretty solid database of almost 32000 CMDRs.

Fleet value: 1,065,728,821 Cr
Credit balance: 888,707,507 Cr
Current assets: 1,954,441,465 Cr

Just few more million and I'll be 1B in fleet, 1B free cash and 2B overall value. Time to dust off Python and mine some VO for my combat ship outfitting. Not thiking about carrier, will wait for official price announcement.

You can click on each commander in Inara.cz to find out how much assets they have, though some are so embarrassed by it that they hide it. Copy and paste into an Excel sheet, then you can do all the analysis you want. Whatever you do doesn't matter to me because I'm the winner.

I just worry what the bottom end is from that data set.

I suppose if sufficiently motivated I could pull say 100 commanders evenly distributed, but I'd need to compensate for the folks who don't use the service somehow. That's an unknown.
