Is the patch released or im the only one who dont get it ? Because i wait it since so many time, for the +100ly calcul map above all...

Thx.

Hi everyone,

my apologies for the delay in posting this! A hot fix was applied to our webservers to fix these two items:

- Fix the bug that stopped the servers permanently recording fines and bounties (with all the various consequences of that)
- Fix the bug that caused Commanders' cargo holds to not be emptied when rebuying their ships through insurance

Thanks!

Michael

great thx !!

@Michael Brookes, is it possible to check if there are any issues with the economy simulation? Just take a look at Tenche and its unlimited supply of Performance Enhancers, as well that seeking luxury traders seem to have a unlimited demand. Another thing I think it bugged right now it's the galnet top sellers and down-trending messages. In most of the systems I've been trading in the last weeks, those posts are completely wrong.

Thank you for your time.

Luxury Traders are a bit of a law unto themselves. The trending posts can be out of date - but if you see a wrong one then stick it in a ticket and we can investigate.

Great Work!
btw, is it intended that I get a bounty on my head when I return fire at an "unscanned" NPC pirate who is already attacking/hitting me? Do I really have to wait for the scan result to safely return fire?
  • Is he wanted at this point? Shooting any ship not flagged as wanted results in you being fined / wanted.
  • Scanning a ship and getting bounty information from another system does not result in the ship being wanted in your current system, so shooting it results in you being fined / wanted.
  • If you are wanted anyone can shoot you without being fined / wanted.

Yes. This is normal

What ??? A friend told me than there will be a big patch today :'( who fix the map to +1000ly paths, the Python's nerf of shield and speed etc... :O

The beta launch of the patch is this week. Which will only be available for alpha/ beta backers.
Once out of beta it will be released to the public.

No, the new beta is today with those features. It will be available to Alpha and Beta backers to test for a week before it goes live.

I think your friend was referring to the 1.1 Beta that comes out today, but that's a testing release rather than a game patch.

Edit: ninja'd :D

none of that.

I asked if it is intended that I get a bounty on my head if I RETURN fire at an "unscanned" NPC pirate who is already hitting me. Can't make it any more clear, sry

If you are not wanted and you get hit by a shot then the shooter gets the wanted status and you do not gain a bounty on your head when shooting back. This has nothing to do wih the npc being un/scanned.

as soon as he is marked WANTED, you can return fire with inpunity.
if you have turned off 'report crimes against me' then the fact that he fires at you is not enough to mark him as wanted.
sometimes there is a delay until the NPC is WANTED

if you get a bounty by firing at a ship that has status WANTED, then that is a bug and can be ticketed.

It might be that way "by design", but it's very odd. The guy is still "wanted" - you just didn't do the scan yet. There's no way you should get fined for shooting someone who is wanted, whether you've done the scan or not.

you should not consider him wanted until the status box says so. it is not legal to shoot someone because he will be wanted sometimes in the future, even if only seconds away.
no "shoot first and ask questions later"

Hi I think the Question is more of

if there are 100's of players who running the quick 2.5 min run between the station and the sellers why is the station not running out of Performance Enhancers.

As it stands the supply does not seem to be going down based on the rate of selling so it begs the questions , is supply and demand actually working or is it like the everlasting gobstopper.... ;)
