Weird Chat Characters

Anyone know what's up with the COMMS? Just a bunch of gibberish. Thought it was just me but saw someone ask the same question in COMMS, so sometimes it does work.

Just curious. Probably clear up.

these are non-latin characters. Might be cyrillic (russian). The english version and any not localized in a non-latin characterized language do not support these.

The "infamous" Block People. Those CMDRs are typing in a script (like cyrillic) and your client cannot show you those letters.

Can I assume it's some Griefers or Gankers, whatever, and just never ran across them before?

No. Just normal commanders who type in their own language.

Looks like a bug to me. Or Petra Olmanova sent you the coordinates to Raxxla and we have to decipher them
