weird graphical glitch

For some reason some of the lines around structures and my ship have this odd glitchy jitter at times. Any idea what might be causing this? Is it a graphics setting problem or maybe a monitor problem? Its not a huge problem, just slightly annoying at times. See this short vid for a demonstration of the problem. Pay attention to the structure in front of the ship.

My hardware is 580rx 8GB graphics card, 16bg ram and a 4k monitor although I am not running the game in 4k.

Probably caused by not running the game in the monitors native resolution, set the desktop resolution the same as the games and look at text/video I think you get a similar effect.

Inside Stations that's unfortunately completely normal, although I'd say it's some kind of bug.

Sometimes it's worse, sometimes minimal or non-existent.
Almost as if our the Ships were permanently rumbling around or vibrating on the Pad at times.
(AFAIK this was visible during the Beta when the Holo-Me was introduced, as the character could literally shake around when docked at a Station)

The result of that motion is Aliasing around structures in the distance that could only be remedied either with Temporal Antialiasing or at least somewhat reduced with high FSAA settings.
But right now, there's no way to really remove it due to Engine limitations. I don't know where those cyclic and "mini-motions" come from when docked at a Station. Rounding errors for Ship positioning during the circular motion of the Stations maybe?

Is the video capture happening from the monitor or the GPU? If it's the GPU, how can it be the monitor's native resolution?

You will even see this shimmering effect in Native 4k at times (3840x2160). There is so much detail on stations and other structures that current tech just can't resolve all those various diagonal lines and stuff without aliasing issues. Even at the highest resolution currently in the game.
