I have a Thrustmaster T16000 which I absolutely love and don't want to replace as it satisfies my every need (I'm still new to space games, but really love the precision of this joystick). However, I think a dedicated throttle will definitely help the immersion factor in ED. I lucked out and found a guy that is selling a Saitek X52 with a button defective on the joystick. I offered him 60$ for the kit, and he confirmed me that it is the throttle that has the USB plug and that Windows reconize it perfectly as a standalone device even if the joystick is not connected.
I'm in Canada, so even the cheapest CH standalone throttle is 149$... I think it's a no brainer in my case. What do you guys think? It should work no?
