I wonder if you will provide guidelines for the moderators. I respect that they are volunteers who have a difficult task, and so I don't begrudge the decision, but I put a large amount of work into an ED Controls Profile for the Warthog HOTAS and the post was moved into obscurity in the 'Off-Topic/Hardware' section. Although the profile is bound to specific hardware, the root subject is software configuration of ED. I'm sure people searching hard enough will still find and benefit from it, and the moderator was very professional, but I hope this conveys the point that some moderators may become 'too' diligent in their work (which is admirable, but not always desirable).

The most important thing is to invest in that extra vigorous kick when they go out of the airlock! Or maybe you should take advice from someone else, when thinking about it. Good luck!
