I am playing since Beta 1.
FDshould not listen to this mind-blowing boardstorm and focus on creating good game with THEIR visions.

In game will be always conflict of interest between hardgamers and casuals who want i-win button on start.

key words alpha/beta you are not going to find a gaming forums after release where everyone agrees on one thing where everyone shares the same vision forums

OP I bought the game about the same time and you have summed it up perfectly. I'm actually looking forward to SC coming out so they can all focus on ruining that game. Hopefully there will still be some of ED left by then.
