I earned my "Elite"-wings at Masuuk as well!
I hope, it doesn't turn out later that we fought on the wrong side - the motives and true reasons behind the current events are quite obscure after all. It would be quite depressing, if I would have to think that all the merits were earned by slaughtering the truely fair-minded...
On the other hand: All factions (with the exception of the reproachless Alliance, of course) are quite dubious in ED.

Just a bit of (somehow related) mind wandering:
This was, by the way, an interesting aspect of the final level-up.
On the one hand, it did indeed feel good - and if only because of the knowledge, that all comabt related missions will be unlocked from now on.
On the other hand, I was a little bit sad that another goal in ED was reached. Before, I was chasing high-ranked targets. Now, target rank doesn't matter any more.
It was the same feeling, when I finally earned enough money to purchase my Python. I even hesitated, if I really should buy it or postpone the deal... but if a goal is met, the goal is met.
But there are new goals at the horizon and I guess, it is way too early to do the final step (also known as "The Big Reset").
Maybe, if we will finally be able to walk (or better: float) our ships in one year +X. I want to fully experience every ship - and this isn't possible, if I can simply purchase each vessel out of the petty cash.
