Well, With The Way 2020/3306 Has Gone...

You could always assemble a ragtag fleet of your alts and their FCs and head off into the black to found a lost tribe away from civilisation as we know it.

There's Explorer's Anchorage station near Sag A (Stuemeae FG-Y D7561 with a whopping 750k pop living there with no agricultural economies nearby to feed it) and the upcoming outpost at the "roof of space" (since it's said to be an outpost, population will prolly be <100k). Plenty of locations to escape.

With Odyssey coming I'm planning on buying some survival gear, food processors and biowaste load of basic medicine, pick a destination and fly far enough to be really far away, find a ELW and settle down there.

Careful - don't step on the toes of the wannabe Lords of Colonia. Any trespassing into their fiefdoms will be punished.
Of course, if you've got a pair of steel-nosed, hob-nailed boots and a serious aversion to dictators, you're more than welcome to come step on some toes. You'll find no shortage of friends out here (and don't worry if you prefer to play in Open. You'll be safer that way. The Masters of the Universe™ aren't all that keen on Open, people shoot back there, so you're unlikely to meet them at all). :)

Which one do you see surviving? Colonia or the Bubble?
Well, I can see lots and lots of ground missions coming up in the bubble, with The Brave New DLC.

So, they will turn up the heat in space, as well. They generally don't have the programming resources to do Colonia at the same time...
