What a surprise. The next step in the mystery is a community goal.

To be fair (unless you were being sarcastic - can't tell ;) ) - you're absolutely right that people made all kinds of wild projections leading up to the release of NMS - but Mr Murray really didn't help matters :)

I agree, Mr Murry didn't help matters :) but people did make up all kinds of wild projections. Anyway - off-topic... back to the thread topic...

Yea avoid the forums. Ignore the comments. God forbid he gets some honest to god feedback. No No let's just coddle them and tell them what a great job they are doing. And whisper sweet lies into their ears.

The beatings will continue until morale improves...

Feedback? Honest to god feedback!? In this dump full of petty small people?
This place is an open sewer.

Jesus, it's not enough that Ed has to deal with the cancerous comments in the live stream, hopefully he steers far away from the forums. You guys are a collective joke if complaining to complain actually helps you get through your day (or night), though I suspect a lot of people were watching the stream well past their bed times.
He doesn't ignore the forums, but that only makes all of this even more confusing by willingly perpetuating the flaws that are being criticized in the same forum you you suggest he should ignore.

If anything, I think that Hyperdictions are at much, much higher rate now... so if anything, people who have tried in the past to get one but failed, now is your big chance of experiencing it.

They explicitly told us that already. But people here make up their own stuff, then get massively upset when that doesnt happen. :)
We’ll be providing a little more information about the update to the community and the press during E3 on June 12th and 13th. We’ll be hosting special community livestreams and activity so stay tuned for more news and updates as we get closer to the date.

You were in my ignore list, I don't know what happened. But damn it, first time I read you in a while, you are doing great at not getting smarter.

Worst live stream FDEV have ever done. Even worse than the early days when Ed didn't know what he was doing, at least then you could forgive him because he was new.

This is unforgivable.

Something exciting, that nobody has done before.....

A Community Goal!

Yeah that's new, really new.

FDev fail again.

So, do you intend to watch tomorrow's stream?

-_-

Just take what data you have in there, if any. Being angry and doing nothing isn't helping, whether you like how it's being handled or not. I think it's cool that they're actually letting us do SOMETHING to help accomplish the reveal.

Humanity...we have to complain about something. Can't even be good sports about a genuinely inventive method for a reveal by Frontier, compared to past events.

What exactly was inventive about a comms beacon delivering a cg?

Why should we not complain?

A lot of us are backers from before this game was even fully realised. We were sold on a game that literally does not exist and likely never will because it's going down a completely different development path than was promised.

We're paying customers. We've a right to complain. And today's livestream was completely unprofessional (audio issues at the start), and a complete let down.

I couldn't care less about you backers, and FD doesn't control the stream of announcements, news, marketing, et al. based upon the whims or expectations of some arbitrary group of players who are no more or no less important that those who didn't crowdfund ED. Put that "sold on a lie" card back in the deck - if you've no legal claim, stop waiving it like it matters.

I am a paying customer, too, you do realize that? Owned ED on one console and about to enjoy it on another. Unprofessionalism is subjective, and ironic how folk like you chose to NOT make it a one-way street and instead insist on your entitlement to it.

Nope, I'll read the interesting stuff on the interwebs while I'm having a poo at some point over the next few days.

I'd like to say I'm regular but I couldn't put a date and time on it if you know what I mean.

Getting older sucks.

As boring as a mini CG may or may not be, it's worth noting that this is part 1 of the E3 interactive stream, and probably a prelude to the main event.

Give the bloke a break. It was well past clocking off time for him at the office, and he's stuck there playing captain enthusiasm to a bunch of moaning minnies.

Oh boy, shyte is gonna hit the fan again on reddit and here. Brace yourselves.

suitably braced

Why does it matter if he does? he wasted his time watching this because he was mislead by FD to believe something related to 2.4 will be announced tonight. Now we have to believe that will happen tomorrow. What exactly is your point Mr. normal forum user.

Ive no idiea whats going on, (no intrest in E3 allthough did see a new metro game is coming which is cool), I take it the clacier of a story line moved a few mm or did a large chunk of nothing fall off it.

Still this thread has made me laugh which is allways good.

Agree that it's not that bloke's fault but the stream itself, and what it had, was under-whelming in the extreme.
