What aliens are you secretly hoping to meet?

Since other fictional universes are most likely proprietary, like the Star Trek universe of Bablyon5 or whatever. I'd like to see the actual conspiracy theory mythos surrounding our own galaxy be introduced (it's only fitting, right?). FD and Braben can do with it whatever they want, just stick all this crazy stuff in there.

Can someone help me out here? I got some aliens in mind from a short story. I think it's Philip K because it's his sort of tale. It's aliens invading from outer space but nobody is bothered by them. In fact they find them annoying. They travelled the countless lightyears to get here but it's not because they are more intelligent than us. They just have very long lifespans and are very very persistent. They are here to tell us about their religion.

What was the name of the short story?

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial ? I find friendly

Never understood why people depict some aliens as naked? Surely a bad idea with all the pathogens, flora and fauna that could potentially kill you! You won't catch me running around barefoot naked as the day I was born...even on our planet!

Of course if you have an outer layer of protein polysaccharides. And a funny habit of shedding your cells and replacing them with polarized silicon, giving you a prolonged resistance to adverse environmental conditions then yes! Go free and but naked.

I only have a list of ones I don't what to meet, out beyond, in the dark, all alone, where my cries for help will reach noone
