what already was bad became worse in beyond 3.0 Elite Dangerous

OP, you're comparing your state in game to folks that have been playing three years. You can reach that state yourself, but remember one thing. It will probably take you three years too. There have been several incidents of "get rich quick" methods which flourished for a few months and were then nerfed. Find one before it gets nerfed and grind the heck out of it and it will give you a bit of a leg up but it won't get you to where those 3-year players are now without considerable investment of game-time on your part over a significant amount of calendar-time.

Don't try to play like you have already accumulated those resources until you actually have. Your play style will need to change to suit your available resources as you progress.

Missions also have destination influence and rep effects, as well as state effects. When you run a mission out, try to pick up missions at the destination that take you back to your starting point and are targeted at a faction that you're trying to rep up with.

I think you're being a little dramatic, frankly.

Not always, or almost never you get missions on the way back when it comes to passenger missions, the situation is clear, it is comfortable for those who already have what they need, and impossible for the player who it arrives now for example, it will live only of vulture, or a type 7, and give up when it kills to buy a bigger ship and see that it has to pay 5 times the price of it in upgrades, being that the first part already was very difficult get, fact! but for those who already have everything is comfortable!

is still able to speak that the price should be 20 times of updating over the price of the ship, so that others do not arrive in it, if they do not lower the price, at least increase the value of the missions and do not reduce.

or put difficulty with more inviting prices in an average for example in solo mode separating it from online and preventing glitches

OP, if you want money: grind missions and choose the REP++++++ payout first. That'll rank you up with the minor factions to Allied. Once you're there, then choose the big money option on future missions. You'll get better money payouts if you're allied with the minor factions.

That's why I said "try" - you won't always be able to achieve it, but by paying attention to which factions are offering missions to which systems, you can work more efficiently.

My alt account (two ships, less than 20mcr in assets) is doing just fine. I won't complain because I know what I'm doing and recognise that doing the full range of activities in E:D is actually the most profitable.

Incidentally, I started playing on the day of the 1.0 release, when data missions paid out 400cr and an Anaconda netted you something like a 7,000cr bounty. You know nothing about slow progress.

The issue is not that mission payouts have been nerfed. They haven't. You now have a range of options - credit-focussed, materials-focussed, reputation-focussed or influence-focussed. It has already been suggested to you that the best way to maximise credits from your missions is to focus on reputation first, then switch to credits when you hit allied. It's actually always been like this, but now you have the option to focus on your desired outcome to reduce the grind. I ran three missions earlier tonight. I chose rep +++++, influence ++ for one, rep ++ influence ++ for another and rep ++ influence +++++ for another. I ended up 80% of the way through cordial with the faction. They started offering higher-paying missions that I couldn't take because I didn't have a cargo hold in my ship at that time. Three missions.

In other words, I don't think you understand how the mission system works.

They are suggestions; they're bad suggestions though.

You are aware that your cr/hr ratio goes up as you progress through the game, aren't you?

Op- Vlasovas, the new system is an improvement, it gives you transparency on what your actions will achieve and you can actually earn more than before, or increase your standing or influence faster than the previous system allowed. It's a lovely addition to the game and really delivers on the promises made to address core game mechanics in a positive, enjoyable manner for average players.

I'm genuinely sorry for you if you can't see that.

My suggestion is to make the most of your limited game time by doing the things that you enjoy doing in the smaller ships. I've played almost every ship in the game and they're all good at something. You don't have to be making a ton of credits or racing up the ranks to have fun. You'll get a much greater sense of achievement exploring in a hauler or dogfighting in a Diamondback than you will swanning around in an Anaconda! ;)

It might help to remember that the game scales it's rewards as you progress through ship sizes- you'll earn more in a Cobra than in your Sidewinder, more again in a Python, then the credits just pour in with your Anaconda. It takes a bit of effort to earn the bigger ships, but probably not as much as you're imagining.
The hardest 'grind' I faced was getting to the Cobra III. Not because it took any great effort, rather that I wanted the ship so badly it physically hurt! :D I spent my teenage years tearing up the joint in a Cobra, I needed to earn another one! But even three years ago, when rewards were a fraction of what they are now, it didn't take long to get my grubby paws on my beloved Cobra.
Once I had her, instead of carrying on the grind, I went out and played the game. I tried the various different things on offer (far fewer than today) and was delighted to discover the multitude of features the game has. I like mucking around with the BGS, it fits my vision of the Pilots Federation being Machiavellian nomads, the kingmakers and puppeteers of our far future fantasy. What I had to infer and discover by trial and accident is now (mostly) up there on the mission board. Progress is a wonderful thing!

Good luck with your game mate, hopefully you can achieve what you're wanting to fairly quickly. Try rooting around the forum; there's a lot of good advice around on everything from making credits to the best way to outfit your ship to suit your play style.

See you in the Black...

Ok so it's starting to sound like youre not upset with the new system you're actually upset with passenger mission ps not giving YOU good enough money in your mind. Or they have to go too far, or both?

Well idk maybe do something else? I'm out grinding fed missions for rank. Just a few more to unlock the vette, which I CANT even afford to buy. Now in the last few days of grinding I've made probably 30 million or so doing nothing but mostly Data missions, with a few deliveries. It's slow for money but I chose not to focus on tougher, longer, higher paying ones. I've netted less creds as I'm spending quite a bit too. I've probably spent about half of what I made on donation missions.

But you know what passengers mission may have had creds nerfed overall a bit, idk? I've been on a break for a bit. I know they were going after the make 100 mil for 10 secs flying to the next planet passenger ones, but I still see good paying passenger missions. Maybe not as good as before but still good paying. You'll just have to fly a bit for that money.

But my current systems have been offering me multi million cred jobs for all kinds of things. I could have easily made probably 3-4 times the money I have so far in 1 day if I took those instead of mostly missions that are paying a max of 80k. But I CHOSE to do the ones I'm doing for efficiency of raising fed rank.

There are still many money making places out there, maybe not as great as some of the past ones but they are there.

And I say this as someone in the same boat (ship?, asp without a paddle?) as you. I've been here for a year barely. And I'm about unlock the vette which I CANT even remotely afford. But I haven't been focusing on creds, I've been after rank, quick, easy, fast, low paying missions, yeah I'm playing a flying thumb drive. But hey I'm close to vette level and took home about 10-12 mil so far. I've also spent about the same amount on donations. Some trips I lose money cause so many donations pop up.

So it really really sounds less like your problem is the system and more like you think some things, or everything needs to pay more. And well to be frank (Ive always wanted to be him) that's a whole other conversation, that tends to flame up, and one that's always going on. At least since I started a year ago it has been.

And there are still some good money spots, maybe not the level of quince, but still damn good.

I have thousands of hours, and don't have still half of the ships. the new system is pretty cool, I'm not in a rush.

My experience so far is this: Already a Rear Admiral; halfway through Imperial Rank tree (Baron); 6 Engies open with a few mods done; 350 million and happy with the progress.
Worked for Hudson for a while; put the Frag Cannon in my DBX; working for Aisling now (damn that rep is easy with her!); Prismatic Shields soon!
Big thing I'm finding is if you're grinding Rep harcore: You're not going to make money super fast; but if you WANT to make money, it's pretty easy to get what you want (Saving for a Corvette atm: Want to equip it well when i buy it).
Everything is fine. Move along.

OP - you seem to be chasing an imaginary end came state, there isnt one. I joined as a backer and spend most of my time in my ASP or Vulture.

Amen to that Bro exatctly what frontier needs to fix... i have almost 400 hours clocked into this game according to steam and still my total credit worth is only around 50 million the vulture is still my best choice cuz its the most fun to play going bounty hunting.... i space trucked my way in a type 6 to buy the vulture so i can go bounty hunting and have fun.... jumping from system to system with all u need to do is press J to either reach ur destination or start ur jump... it is just plain boring... exploring the galaxy for no reason is boring as well... u need the imagination of a 4 year old or maybe ur writing a book and need something to do in between... i payed for this game and yet im not able to acces all of its content.... even after 400 hours..... i simply dont like exploits or hacks... should looking up a way to exploit the game on youtube or whatever be the way that you have to play or stay poor ?? its a smack in the face when a player with 100 hours into the game adds me on steam and tells me he has a python or anaconda..... xD there should be more stuff u can get besides ships like maybe ur own faction controlled space station system or planets..... and like a loyalty reward sytem instead of exploit rewards...

Your last point - you Were being sarcastic, right? If not, join our fast growing clan, CLB. We have many systems, and a station in Colonia...
