What animals have you not built for yet?

I've been playing this game since the beta, but I could never really build that much in game due to low motivation and my graphics card turning every texture to poo after a while. But now that I've finally upgraded my PC, I can build much larger zoos. Due to that, I haven't built for a lot of animals, and mostly have stuck to the base game roster and the earlier DLCs, and avoided the big ticket animals as well as I never got far into my zoo plans where they would be included further into the zoo. I've only built for 56 habitat animals, and half of which I've built with good effort. So what animals have you guys not built for yet? Also, I'm only counting habitat animals, as I don't remember every single exhibit I have built for.

Animals I haven't built for yet:
Base game: Both elephants, the lion, cheetah, giraffe, chimps, gorillas, and a few other base game animals. Missing animals 13
Arctic: Polar bear and reindeer
SA: Llama, jaguar, and Capuchin
Aus: Built for all of them
Aqua: Haven't built for any of them
SEA: All minus the binturong
Africa: Penguin and meerkat
NA: all minus the prairie dog
Euro: All of them
Wetlands: Crane, caiman, and WWB
Con: Never built for
Twilight: all minus the raccoon
Everything else: Never built for (yet)

56 animals built for, 83 not built for yet

Going by the parts of the roster I have built for, I played a lot of right when the game came out, built for a handful of the earlier dlcs, but haven't built for anything after Wetlands (plus the raccoon), as my one almost finished zoo was planned around wetlands release, and I've only just now finished it.

Here's my list of what I've built for so far, as of April 25. This list will change once I get back into my new zoo

Too lazy to do a full tierlist, here's the selection of animals I'm definitely sure I have never built for. A few of these will be built for soon enough as they are in the plans of my current zoo projects such as the giant panda which I still have never built a habitat for them in 4 years. New animals often won't get built for quite a while so the bulk of these animals are largely newer animals or oceania animals which I never get the chance to build much of.

I've kinda built for each animal at least once, but truly spend time on and really make detailed habitat?
Well, my list is:
  1. Himalayan brown bear
  2. Wolverine
  3. Saiga
  4. Wisent
  5. Asian small-clawed otter
  6. Kiwi
  7. Quokka

That's all I can name at the top of my head. For all of them (minutes the bear), it's because I just don't have any ideas what to do with them. And the bear is because it's my least favorite animal in-game

I've built for almost all of the species in game, but I'm only including the ones that I am proud of the enclosures I have built for them, since almost all of the enclosures built before the end of 2022 are kinda bad imo.

And of course add in all of the barnyard animals in the category "building soon". Looking back at this I can't believe I haven't built anything good for the swan or the caracal, damn.

I've built for more than I thought! Though that may be due to my copious amount of unfinished sandbox zoos. I've gotten a lot busier since 2023 so I haven't had the time to work with most species that have come out since then. Hopefully I'll finally get to completing the other Oceania pack species once I stop redoing existing stuff in my current main project and actually build new things. Most of the ones I have no interest in are due to having better alternatives, not fitting my realism focused playstyle, or are from a region I don't build in and are nearly nonexistent outside of said region (To be blunt, it's Europe).

All of the Barnyard pack species I'm planning to have in my current zoo, I'll just have to pretend some of them are more suitable breeds for a zoo set in Aotearoa until more mods come out/get updated for me to replace them with.

Waaaaay to lazy to do the entire list, Here's the ones I haven't built for yet. This is all for franchise. A number of them I've built just one time though.

The Fossa's next on my list, been intending to do that for a while, and then the Takin. I honestly don't know if I'll ever build for the Drama Gazelle or Armadillo. I'm sure I'll get the exhibit animal in at some point.

Fossa's kind of a pain to build for haha. I have a pair in franchise that when they were finally happy enough to have pups (Or kittens or whatever you call fossa babies) it felt like an achievement. I imagined the zoo doing a social media post to celebrate.

Some things that are worth to mention:
I'm not counting test zoos nor challenge modes.
I don't have plans for the bactrian camel cuz it doesn't fit in any of my future projects.
The bonobo, arctic wolf and Amur leopard are just boring and i rather build for other primates, canides and cats.
Before the tropical pack releases, the fossa habitat on Dier zoo was home of some binturongs to substitute fossas, however since they addition they were obviously removed. Because of this i used bintus, but built for fossas instead.
I still don't know if i will use monarchs and hermman's on Dier zoo.
in similar vein, i don't know if african penguin and the red fox will be used in future projects.

Never touched the llama due to it belonging nowhere except in a barnyard.

Haven't touched any of the Eurasia animals yet either. Nor the quokka, or the Asian water monitor. I think the only base game animal I've never added has been the grizzly bear. I prefer the HBB. Since there's no Eurasian brown bear in the game I can just "pretend" that the zoo I'm building decided to focus on a more conservationally-necessary subspecies that in real life does have a very small presence in Europe.
