What animals would you like to see in JWE2? What is your wishlist?

Some others I thought of have come to mind. A couple of these may have been stuff I've posted somewhere already though.

1. Albertaceratops: A ceratopsian with two small brow horns, a stubby nose ridge, and two thick frill horns pointing sideways.

2. Zuul: A spiky ankylosaur named after one of the dog creatures from the Ghostbusters series.

3. Struthiosaurus: A small ankylosaur from Europe, including the dwarf dino island of Hateg.

4. Latenivenatrix: A small troodontid theropod, once thought to be part of the Troodon genus.

5. Xenoceratops: A ceratopsian whose name means "alien horned face" due to its formation of where it was found to be lacking in ceratopsian fossils.

6. Arambourgiania: A colossal sized pterosaur also known by the preoccupied name, "Titanopteryx".

7. Afrotapejara: The first tapejarid pterosaur to be discovered in Africa.

8. Pycnonemosaurus: A large abelisaur theropod from Brazil.

9. Ajnabia: A small hadrosaur just recently discovered, and the first hadrosaur to be found in Africa.

10. Stegouros: A recently described small ankylosaur from Chilie with a distinctive shaped tail.

11. Lurdusaurus: An unusual iguanodont dinosaur from Africa known for its oddly shaped body, including an elongated neck.

12. Agujaceratops: A ceratopsian with horns that point straight upwards and backwards.

13. Bajadasaurus: A sauropod dinosaur related to Amargasaurus, but with spins that point and curve forward instead of backwards.

14. Puertasaurus: A large sauropod dinosaur that lived alongside Dreadnoughtus.

15. Patagotitan: A recently described huge sauropod with controversy surrounding its size estimates.

16. Maraapunisaurus: A Jurassic sauropod known by a colossal sized spine piece, roughly the size of a person, and was initially thought to be of an already existing genus until recent years where it was given a genus name of its own.

Huh, apparently I've never posted in this thread.

Well, first off I'd like to say that more park customization and rides (for all eras) is more important to me than more dinosaurs. At the very least the priority should be on Lagoon customization and finally adding a Jurassic River Cruise ride as soon as possible.

I also think right now that new dinosaurs are not as important as the Legacy Skins (i.e. 1993 Brachiosaurus, 2001 Pteranodon) and Variants (i.e. Pierce Kentrosaurus, BioSyn Dreadnoughtus) needing more variety and customization. They should either be added to the current system of skin color and skin pattern OR be given multiple skin variations (such as the ones that were present for the Legacy Skins in JWE1).

That said, here's my wishlist:

- The missing Dominion dinosaurs, especially Oviraptor and Microceratus which I've been asking for since before JWE1 launched.

- Unpopular opinion: I still want the JWE1 hybrids back. Spinoraptor, Stegoceratops and Ankylodocus. After every few sanctuary preserves and Jurassic Park/World rebuilds I really enjoyed cleansing my palate with a good old Chaos Effect style freakshow or mad science park where I could put all the hybrids and other dinosaurs with the most garishly colorful skins. Gimme my fun back.

- If we get a Triassic Dinosaur Pack, which to me is one of the most likely candidates, I'd want it to contain Plateosaurus, Shonisaurus (Lagoon) and Caviramus (Aviary). I'd be happy with any fourth pick, though.

Assorted wishlist other than those:
  • Archelon (Lagoon)
  • Concavenator
  • Deinocheirus*
  • Ichtyovenator*
  • Protoceratops*
  • Scutosaurus
  • Shunosaurus*
  • Thalassodromeus (Aviary)
  • Yanchuanosaurus*
(*All possible contenders for an Asia Dinosaur Pack.)

It's not a huge or complicated list and I hope we end up getting a lot of them.

I have to say I'm really impressed with the existing roster of dinosaurs/prehistoric animals thus far. Really diverse. My wishlist is pretty small

Herbivores
  1. Edaphosaurus (a nice herbivore option to mix up exhibitions - non dinosaur like Dimetrodon)
  2. Protoceratops (I agree with many in the community that this would be a great addition)
  3. Saltasaurus (A sauropod with a bit of armor)
  4. Stegouros (Newly discovered dino with slashing tail)
Carnivores
  1. Archaeopteryx (another well known feathered dino that can compliment the Pyroraptor)
  2. Concavenator (I also agree with the community on bringing this unique dino in)

While I don't really share your opinion about wanting the hybrids back, I like the rest of your suggestions. It would be nice if the new dinosaurs from the dominion movie trailers that are not included in the Biosyn DLC were added at a later date, perhaps as part of a free update or something like that. It would definitely be nice to get more dinosaurs from the Triassic period, because, besides Coelophysis and Herrerasaurus, we don't really have any from that time period. Some other species I would suggest adding to your Triassic pack include Preondactylus, Austriadactylus, Arcticodactylus, Caelestiventus (all of which belong in an aviary), Staurikosaurus, Chindesaurus, Liliensternus, Isanosaurus, Guaibasaurus, Pisanosaurus, and or Thecodontosaurus.

First of all, I would love to get a The Lost World accurate model for the Mamenchisaurus! It is the only dinosaur from the movies that does not have an accurate model =(

I think Hatzegopteryx is a better addition than Arambourgiania, and Argentinosaurus instead of the sauropods you proposed

My list (in no specific order):
  • Tarbosaurus
  • Nanuqsaurus
  • Yutyrannus
  • Utahraptor
  • Dakotaraptor
  • Elasmosaurus
  • Pliosaurus
  • Tylosaurus
  • Dunkleosteus
  • Argentinosaurus
  • Bajadasaurus
  • Quetzalcoatlus
  • Arambourgiania

Update (the quoted one is quite old and outdated now):

Land
  • Mononykus
  • Yutyrannus
  • Utahraptor
  • Nanuqsaurus
  • Bajadasaurus
  • Plateosaurus
  • Guanlong
  • Protoceratops
  • Megaraptor
  • Tanystropheus
  • Yangchuanosaurus
  • Austroraptor
  • Postosuchus
Marine
  • Dakosaurus
  • Pliosaurus
  • Styxosaurus
  • Platecarpus
Flying
  • Thalassodromeus
  • Rhamphorhynchus
  • Nyctosaurus
  • Hatzegopteryx
  • Arambourgiania

Some species such as Yutyrannus, Protoceratops, Bajadasaurus, Mononykus, Tanystropheus etc. are simply must-haves. Also, feathered species in real life should also be properly feathered in the game, such as Yutyrannus, Utahraptor and Nanuqsaurus for instance.

With Dimetrodon as the first animal on land with us no dinosaur, i would like to see:
  • Shringasaurus
  • Edaphosaurus
  • Scutosaurus
  • Inostrancevia
  • Postosuchus
  • Armadillosuchus
Considering they added Dimetrodon into the game, I think it would be wise to add some more more animals from the Permian period. I like the idea of adding Edaphosaurus, Diadectes, Ulemosaurus, Gorgonops, Inostrancevia, Scutosaurus, Euchambersia (if the developers want to add it, please give it a venomous bite; it is thought to be one of the first animals to have a venomous bite), and Secodontosaurus into the game. I think it would also be a good idea to add Lystrosaurus, Postosuchus, and or Trucidocynodon into it as well.

I'd like to see more Triassic era dinosaurs in the game.

Here are some Triassic era dinosaurs I hope make it into DLC:

Postosuchus
Placerias
Hybodus
Thrinaxodon

But these are some more I'd like to see:

Utahraptor
Ornithocherius
Dromaeosaurus

Basically a collection of some from Walking with Dinosaurs lol. I'd love to have them in here from my childhood, but I do think the game needs more Triassic dinosaurs in general because the other periods get a lot of love while Triassic doesn't get too much attention. Although not technically a dinosaur, my inner kid would also love to have Megalodon.

You wrote down 4 whole animals and somehow managed to have none be dinosaurs
Yes, but the new Jurassic World movie includes genetically modified locusts and Dimetrodon as new species in that movie, which is probably why they suggested them. I can see what you mean though in regards to the error you pointed out. I know in a post I made in thread on June 10, I suggested some new pterosaur and dinosaur species from the Triassic Period I would like to see added into the game. I'll mention in addition to the species I already listed it would be nice if the developers added Tawa hallae, Eodromaeus, and Eoraptor into the game. Eoraptor in particular is of great interest because of the fact it is thought to be omnivorous, which we currently don't have any omnivorous dinosaurs in this game.

I'm quite happy with the dinosaur roster, the DLCs were nice!
But my favorite is still missing, the Pteranodon skin from "The Lost World" 1997, I don't think it's a difficult thing to do for the Frontier Team.
That skin shows the Franchise's most realistic Pteranodon, has no teeth in its beak and has a long crest.
Some may say that in "The Lost World", Pteranodon appears briefly, but there are plenty of animals on the roster that have never appeared and made very well!
Why not honor the most famous of flying reptiles with its most beautiful skin?
Also it might be a good idea to commemorate the 25th anniversary of "The Lost World"!
