What are opening fire conditions of Fleet Carriers?

If security fire on you (or hit the FC) the FC will fire back but cause no damage.

Bear in mind ATR here are persistent too (or were in beta)...so if you log out with them around, they'll be there when you log in.

"My" FC should not open fire to me in any circumstances. She must recognize me immediately and act accordingly.

For example; Local authorities scan me and i have wanted status, then they will open fire to me of course. But, at this point, "my" FC must shoot 'em to protect me (supreme owner thing, you know :) )

I know this behaviour is illegal in-game but, i have also a solution; local authorities can force to FC's departure in (for example) 5 minutes and declare me persona non grata.

Is it too much to ask?

I was on my carrier last night, just docked, when my carrier started firing. I gawped out the side window (used the right panel) and two ships are having handbags right near my carrier. How pleased I was to see my carrier shoot at the pair of them. No fatalities, unfortunately.

There's been more than one suggestion posted about a FC recognizing its skipper. At a minimum it really should be impossible to make a FC aggro on its owner. FD have, of course, been completely silent on these points. I regard this as a hopeful sign, because if it's a definite "no, will never happen" they have usually been willing to say so.
